Hello, I'm Pencil Miracle, the artist behind Carbon Maestro. There's nothing much you need to know about me, just that I like drawing and ponies :) .

Just to let you know I love getting comments and I always read them, also don't be afraid to ask me something! I'll (almost) always reply. And I get really excited every time I get a fav or a watch :D If I come across as weird, random, disturbingly happy, crazy or annoying just ignore me ^^ Personally I think I'm pretty bad at giving good advice, but if you ask me about something I'll do my best to help :)

How long does it take to make an animation. I love your work, I plan to take classes on flash, but never knew how long it takes for a 5 minute animation. I would put in a few hours of work per day, if now more. Thank you.

It usually depends on how much animations and effort you put into it. I try to make the quality as good enough as I'm able to, but I still have lots to improve upon :) The Tavilicious took about 3 weeks because of its simplicity, but the Legacy of Starswirl one took about a month and a half. I guess if I wanted the quality of the Legacy of Starswirl to be better, it might've taken more time. Right now, I'm still working on an animation project I started a month ago. But since I'm kind of occupied with school work and stuff, it's taking me a bit longer than usual. Sorry for the huge paragraph! And thank you for the watch! :la:

Thank you, and don't worry, I love big paragraphs....unless its filled with words I never heard of.
And yes, I will put a lot of effort into it. My question wasn't answered completly though.
So now I know that each one took around 1-2 month. How many hours did you put in per day? If you don't know exactly, you can guesstimate.
Really hope to see more of your animations in the future. Art like drawings and animations can make a person very happy, which is why i want a career on it.

I put about 3-5 hours on my free time, though sometimes when I have nothing to do for certain days I can work up to 6-8 (all day basically)so I guess the average is like 5-6 hours. If you take that much time (3-4 hours) every day, making a 5-min long animation would probably take about a month. I haven't tried doing that before, but that would be my estimation. I totally agree that art like drawings and animations are wonderful things, and I hope you receive the career you pursue! I'll try to keep up with my animations :)

I'm not sure. Since I'm working on an animation project with someone,I don't know how long it'll take me to finish a commissioned request. I will begin accepting requests and commissions during June. It's a long wait, sorry :( but that is when I am not so busy. But thanks for the offer! :) I'll be definitely considering it later
